Bullet Journal Window Ideas
Bullet Journal Window Ideas
Are you looking for new ways to get even more creative with your bullet journal? We’ve got you covered! In this blog post, I will be sharing some of my favourite bullet journal windows with you.
What is a bullet journal window?
A bullet journal window is when you cut a hole through a bullet journal page so you have a literal window to the next page. You can keep layering your windows as well with bigger windows on top of a smaller one to show multiple textures. It’s easily one of my favourite ways to have fun with my journal and adds something more decorative.
Bullet Journal Creative Window Ideas
Here are some of my creative window ideas for bullet journal spreads!
This spread was made using our Tsuki Dried Flowers Collection! I created 2 windows in 1 page and then the page underneath it has 2 smaller windows so each page reveals a little part of the page adding texture and more interesting colour to the whole spread.
This journal window was created in our Hinoki Passport Size Travel Notebook with our Hinoki Into the Cafe collection. For this I again layered some windows but this time, it’s more irregular.
I ripped the pages to create this vintage ripped effect and added some gold page to the edges of the windows to highlight. Then I added some scrapbook paper for texture and layered on some stickers and washi tapes.
Next is another vintage style journal window. For this I used our Tsuki Midsummer Night’s Dream washi tapes to decorate. I again did layers with the final layer revealing my favourite sticker from the washi tape sticker roll from the Midsummer Night’s Dream.
You can add whatever you want in the middle of the final window. It can be a photo, a sticker or a quote.
This journal window was very fun to make! I used our Neko Days Travel Notebook Gift Set and to carry on with the cat theme, I made my window a paw print shape. I only did one layer this time and had my to-do list on the next page.
This next journal window is an ode to the Italian countryside. I used our Summer in Italy collection using the stamp to create this polaroid. I cut the middle of the polaroid and added a photo underneath.
You can also add whatever photo you want from your favourite trip or a drawing, it’s up to you to get as creative as you want!
This journal window was created using our Hinoki Into the Meadow collection. Again, I ripped the pages to create a more organic + natural look to match the nature theme. I added some sticker and tapes to decorate and voila!
The final bullet journal window that I will be sharing with you is my latest bujo window using our Sunlit Mystery collection.
I used our Sunlit Mystery Kraft Paper Bullet Journal to create a more vintage vibe. I think using different types of paper, whether layering them together or using a bullet journal with kraft paper pages, adds a whole new look to your spreads.
I added multiple layers for this one and used and my favourite stickers and washi tapes on the last page. The windows on this act as frames for the sticker + washi tape art I did on the last page.
