The journals come with 2 ribbon markers (black and brown for all 4 journals) and have very sturdy covers. I wasn't afraid at all of the spines breaking or the signatures coming undone while flipping through the pages. The pages are a tad thinner then expected so some of the prints show through on other pages, but it's never particularly bothersome, and some even look like they were intentionally placed! Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and will definitely be buying more of these books in the future. I will also be buying from this seller again as the transaction was smooth with no problems.
